Our current efforts to reduce our environmental impact:

 ~ Waste Management:  By reusing the empty cartridges which are made of plastic and approximately 4+ litres of oil; we have been able to keep approximately 110,000 cartridges out of the landfill and mass amounts of C0₂ out of the air from creation of new plastics since we were established in 1995.

 ~ Recycling: Besides our Ribbon Revival Ltd. (RRL) Brand of compatible cartridges that we build out of original plastics, we recycle the plastic bottles the toner comes in, all office paper, cardboard, packing materials, aluminum, magnets, water bottles, pop cans, food plastics and tin, plastic bags.

 ~ Packaging: Our boxes are 75% – 85% recycled cardboard and the virgin materials come from sustainable forestry.  The Inks used to print on the boxes are a vegetable based dye, reducing emissions.  We also will reuse our boxes if they are still clean of any writing or spills or tears and for the ones that are unusable, we recycle into our cardboard bin.  We reuse clean packaging materials.

 ~ Office Equipment:  We offer a cradle to grave service for all of our RRL clients.  From purchase of office machines to maintenance to recycling your office equipment.

~ Suppliers: We try to maintain suppliers that also have environmental sustainability practices in place.

We have decreased our garbage by 2/3 since implementing this program in our office and are always researching new ways to improve.
